Unicycling Hats

Unicycling has a name for the exit that did not follow the plan: UPD, or unplanned dismount. The rider glossary also uses freemount for mounting without external support, with static, rollback, rolling and tire-grab methods discussed by riders. That vocabulary gives these unicycling hats their center of gravity: the proud one-wheel identity and the slightly less controlled departure. The sport reaches well beyond a single kind of riding. Lakeland PBS's account of Unicon 21 in Bemidji in July 2024 includes freestyle, racing and basketball. The Gazette documented Rob Urban and his teenage son on rocky terrain at Ute Valley Park, with a photograph identifying a brake below the saddle. Mountain unicycling has its own shorthand, MUni. These are human-powered riding references, the world this collection speaks to. ONE WHEEL IS ENOUGH and LIFE IS ABOUT BALANCE appear in existing unicycle apparel offers. Here they sit beside HALF THE WHEELS / TWICE THE EXPLANATION, the unplanned-dismount confession and the shin-seeking missile exaggeration. The rider gets the joke without having to explain the equipment first. Each design is custom embroidered on a dad hat, with second colorways for the explanation and shin-seeking missile lines. Choose a plain UNICYCLIST badge or wear the balance-sport self-own in full.
