I've Biked 4,000 Miles And Never Left The Basement Hat
Indoor cycling is a world apart from the road. It is 45 minutes of riding a stationary bike hard in a dark room, to music, and Vice describes spin classes as a whole cult, part training routine, part self-improvement seminar, with instructors somewhere between a military commander and a megachurch pastor. The language is its own: a quarter turn means one turn of the resistance knob to the right, and the joke every rider knows is that in the dark nobody can check whether you really added it. Peloton brought the leaderboard home, where you send a high five by tapping a rider's picture, capped at one a minute per member, and the company ended fiscal 2026 with 2.553 million paid connected fitness subscribers.
These spin class and Peloton hats are written in that voice. Two plain badges say SPIN CLASS and PELOTON. The rest play the joke of riding hard and going nowhere: the bike that holds the laundry, the 4,000 miles that never left the basement, the quarter turns on the honor system, the leaderboard lurker, the instructor who knows more than a therapist, and CYCLEPATH, a team name in the vein of the crews who order matching spin apparel. Two designs get a second colorway.
Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. Pick one for your own front-row bike, or for the friend who sends high fives to strangers.
