The money is real too: copper hit an all-time high of $14,572 a tonne on the LME on 29 January 2026, and scrappers watch prices the way other people watch a ticker. BARE BRIGHT is the grade for clean, bright copper wire, and SCRAPPITY SCRAP and the I WORK IN COMMODITIES (scrap metal) line echo jokes that already sell on dad hats elsewhere. The rest are for people who know what a radiator weighs, strip wire for copper, drive slow on trash night and wave through the whole truck bed of brass, aluminum and copper.
