Orangetheory & HIIT Class Hats

Orangetheory started in March 2010 in Fort Lauderdale, founded by Ellen Latham, Jerome Kern and David Long. By 2023 it had over 1,500 studios in 50 states and 24 countries, and it counted over one million members in 2020. That is a lot of people sharing a private language: tread, rower and floor, base pace, push pace and all out, and the color-coded heart rate zones that run from grey up to red. The one everyone knows is the splat point, one minute spent in the orange or red zone. The goal is 12 or more per class, and the company's own guide describes spending 12 to 20 minutes in the orange zone. Etsy sellers already sell Splat! tees and Benchmark Day shirts. A local reporter who took 6 AM classes said she did not think her eyes could open before 6 AM, and also noted a 90 percent chance someone high-fives you in the first five seconds. These Orangetheory and HIIT class hats put that voice on a dad hat: the two head-term badges, SPLAT POINTS, the three-station TREAD ROWER FLOOR, the treadmill block language, and a few bits about burpees, dawn and a Britney Spears pun. SPLAT POINTS and the burpee restraining order each get a second colorway. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. Wear it to the 5 AM class, or give one to the regular who counts their points like a score.
