The class of 2026 walked across the stage in May and a lot of them are still refreshing the same three job boards. New-grad unemployment is running near 5.6%, roughly 43% of recent graduates are underemployed, and entry-level postings are down about a third since 2023 — while the listings that survive somehow want five years of experience for a job described as entry level. This collection is that experience, embroidered. The LinkedIn open-to-work banner as an actual hat. The rejection email that promises to keep your resume on file and never calls. The final round you lost to another candidate. The full-time job of applying for jobs, which pays nothing and has no manager to escalate to. The lines are set the way they arrive in real life: job-posting sans for the listings, quiet serif for the letters. It is a hat you wear to the coffee shop, the wedding, the reunion where someone asks what you are up to now. Better to answer with the hat.
