Day Shift Could Never Hat
About 8.5% of full-time US workers usually work evening, night or rotating shifts, and 3.4% work nights alone (BLS), a workforce that spans nursing floors, warehouse docks, security booths, dispatch desks, factory third shift and overnight bakeries. No single trade owns that life, so this collection doesn't either: it's built for anyone whose clock runs backward from everyone they know. Two badges name the shift plainly, THIRD SHIFT and GRAVEYARD SHIFT, since neither phrase had a hat here yet. The rest live inside the inversion: a 3 AM lunch break, a body clock parked in a different time zone, more blackout curtains than friends, and the quiet bragging rights of a vampire joke that only another night-shift worker gets on sight. DAY SHIFT COULD NEVER and DAY WALKERS WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND turn the coworkers on the other side of the handover into the punchline without naming any of them, which keeps every line first-person and wearable on its own. NIGHT SHIFT itself is already live elsewhere in the catalogue as a raccoon-meme novelty, so it's left alone here in favor of the sharper, more specific lines below it.
Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. The two strongest lines, NOCTURNAL BY PAYCHECK and DAY SHIFT COULD NEVER, each get a second colorway.
