Marine Corps Hats

Marines own every joke made at their expense. The crayon-eater trope is the best example: Terminal Lance creator Maximilian Uriarte found nothing on Marines and crayons before 2010, it spread through social media around 2016, and by September 2018 a former infantry Marine was selling edible Crayons: Ready to Eat. Terminal Lance followed with a Coloring for Marines book in 2023. One Marine-run shop calls it a badge of honor dressed up as a punchline, and a veteran quoted by We Are The Mighty says the same of JARHEAD: we like being called names like that. These Marine Corps hats come in two registers. The badges name the branch and its words plainly: MARINE CORPS, MARINE CORPS VETERAN, SEMPER FI, OORAH and DEVIL DOG, all lines that already sell on embroidered caps and tees. The longer designs are self-owned bits: CRAYON EATER, a recruiting slogan finished with the joke, a motivational standard stamped USMC, and a dig at the Army from the Marine side. The Corps was founded on November 10, 1775, so a hat here works for the birthday, Veterans Day, or a boot camp graduation. Veteran Hats and Military Spouse Hats cover the general veteran and the spouse; this is the branch-pride page. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. CRAYON EATER and SEMPER FI each come in two colorways.
