Mandela Effect Hats

The Mandela Effect got its name in 2010, when Fiona Broome found that dozens of people at Dragon Con shared her memory of Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s, which never happened. She started MandelaEffect.com that year, and the shared false memory has been an internet staple ever since, covered by CNN, Britannica and Today. Believers keep a canon: the Berenstain Bears that everyone spells Berenstein, a Fruit of the Loom logo with fruit but no cornucopia, a Monopoly man with no monocle, a Curious George with no tail, and a Sinbad movie called Shazaam that was never made, likely blended with Shaq's Kazaam. Even Pikachu's tail is yellow, with the black on the ears. These Mandela Effect hats speak in the believers' own voice: certain, unbothered, and sure the timeline changed rather than the memory. Badges name the effect, and sentence designs carry the cornucopia, the Berenstein spelling, the missing monocle and the Pikachu tail swear-on-my-life. Fruit of the Loom and Berenstein are the pair already selling on Etsy and TeePublic shirts, so each gets a second colorway here. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. Pick the memory you will defend to the end, or give one to the friend who still says Berenstein.
