Land, Go Hat
Magic: The Gathering's adult player base is enormous and still growing, driven largely by Commander, the casual four-player format that turned the game from a tournament grind into a weekly social ritual, plus a steady run of mainstream crossover sets that keep pulling new players in. What holds the hobby together is a shared vocabulary that reads as nonsense to anyone outside it and as a native language to anyone inside it: the untap, upkeep, draw rhythm that opens every turn, the two words a player says when they have nothing left to do (land, go), and mana screw, the all-purpose excuse for a loss that was obviously the cards' fault and not yours.
These hats speak that language back. MTG and the full MAGIC: THE GATHERING wordmark name the game outright. UNTAP UPKEEP DRAW and LAND, GO are table-talk lifted straight from a real turn. PLANESWALKER names the card type every modern deck is built around. The rest are the table politics every Commander player recognizes on sight: the mana-screw excuse, insisting you are not the biggest threat at the table when you clearly are, the particular loneliness of playing blue, and defending mill, the slowest and most argued-over way to win, as a completely valid strategy.
Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. The two strongest lines, the mana-screw excuse and LAND, GO, each get a second colorway.
