Golf Caddie & Looper Hats

The caddie's code fits on a hat: show up, keep up, and shut up. The adage has been in print since at least 1992, and Mike Cowan, Tiger Woods' caddie, put it as "Basically, it's show up, keep up and shut up." Modern tour caddies now give detailed strategy, but the old rule survives as the joke, and looper is the casual slang for the same job, from looping around the course with a bag. The dry caddie replies are folklore too: a caddie answering "What should I hit?" with "Try the fairway," and John Wood, Matt Kuchar's caddie, explaining that when your player is ready to go, you've been ready for 20 minutes. These hats put that voice on the wearer. Two plain badges, CADDIE and LOOPER, carry the searched terms. The sentence designs take the code from there: the adage on a four-line stack, a putt that always breaks left, yardage as a feeling, the caddie who knows everyone's real score, rakes bunkers, keeps secrets and carries more than the bag. This is the caddie's own identity, distinct from Funny Golf, which jokes from the golfer's side. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat.
