The gag is the gap between the ceremony and the achievement, and it landed because after years of optimization content, congratulating yourself for clearing a bar on the floor is genuinely funny. It also happens to be perfect hat material. The joke needs no context, no caption and no thread — a stranger reading ANSWERED THE PHONE / GOLD STAR BEHAVIOR across a room gets it immediately, and probably relates harder than they would like to admit. We set the anchor phrase in gold and old gold thread across khaki, navy, camo and cranberry, arched like something you were awarded and stacked in slab serif like something engraved.
