Escape Room Enthusiast Hats

Room Escape Artist's December 2025 industry report counted just over 2,000 escape room facilities in the United States, running about 7,800 games and roughly 40,000 bookings a week at an average of about $150 each. That is a lot of people paying to be locked in a room with a clock. Staff stories from game masters give the hobby its best material. There is the group that solved a puzzle by desk lamp until a message reached them: "You know you can turn on the lights." There is the friend who tried picking the lock, and the game master who came in and said, "NO." And there is the key that was literally just hanging in the middle of a large wall at eye level. Staff also warn players not to put things in outlets, and players have stomped through chairs and pulled fire alarms. These escape room hats are for the regulars: the enthusiast badge, the hint that is refused and needed in the same breath, checking under the rug, the four-digit code that is always the answer, and the game master who saw everything on camera. They sit near our jigsaw puzzle, crossword and trivia night collections without borrowing their jokes, because none of those has the locked-room world. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. Wear one to the next team outing, birthday or date night.
