On December 18, 2026, Dune: Part Three and Avengers: Doomsday open on the same day. Neither studio has moved, the trades have spent months insisting somebody will, and in the meantime the internet did what it did for Barbenheimer three years ago: it gave the collision a name. Dunesday. These hats are for the standoff. Some pick a side, sand over spandex or the other way round. Some refuse to pick at all and commit to the six-hour doubleheader with two large popcorns. And a few skip the release-calendar drama entirely for the part that outlasts it, because the spice was always going to keep flowing regardless of what anyone does with a December weekend.
