CrossFit Hats

CrossFit runs on a glossary outsiders never quite crack. CrossFit's own terms page spells it out: WOD is the workout of the day, Rx means as prescribed (many gyms write up an Rx'd version), scaled is the modified one, and AMRAP is as many rounds or reps as possible. Then there is PR, the personal record, and ER, the other way a session can end. The members are famous for talking about it: the forum joke asks how you can tell a person does CrossFit and answers "They'll tell you," and a roundup of box posters with "zero self-awareness" made the rounds. These hats let the box regulars say it first. The badges, CROSSFIT and WOD, are the plain flag. The sentence designs laugh at the devotion from inside: WOD NOW WINE LATER, already selling on Zazzle WOD shirts next to KILL YOUR WOD, PR OR ER for the fine line the sport walks, SCALED AND STILL DYING for the modified version that still hurts, RX'D for the one-word brag, TOES TO BAR STAR straight off the CrossFit sayings lists, and a hobby list that is just CrossFit and talking about CrossFit. MURPH IN THE VEST is set plain and reverent, a nod to the hero workout named for Lt. Michael Murphy, with no punchline. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. WOD NOW WINE LATER and PR OR ER each get a second colorway.
