Gandhi Has Denounced Me Hat
Sid Meier's Civilization has a famous bug that may never have existed. The Nuclear Gandhi story says an integer overflow in the 1991 original turned the Indian leader into a warmonger, and Sid Meier has said the glitch was never real. It still shaped the series: in Civ V, designer Jon Shafer gave Gandhi a nuclear value of 12 as a joke. The in-game diplomacy line is simpler, and every player has seen it: a leader denounces you.
These Civilization and strategy gamer hats are for people who learned history by running empires until 4 a.m. WOLOLO is the Priest's conversion chant from the 1997 Age of Empires, a sound with no meaning, and Xbox Gear sells an official Wololo tee. The compulsion has its own culture, too: Engadget covered Civilization Anonymous, a joke support group for the just-one-more-turn habit, back in 2010. Civ VII launched on February 11, 2025, for PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch, and Just One More Turn hats already sell on TeePublic.
The designs here narrate a weeknight game as world history: settling near a river in 4000 BC and missing dinner, building the pyramids by turn 60, trading a culture victory for a domination one, and admitting a futon is no wonder. Every design is custom embroidered on an unstructured dad hat. Wear one to the next LAN night, or give one to the friend who says they can quit after they take Rome.
