In Frank Herbert's Dune, the Butlerian Jihad is the war that destroyed every thinking machine and left humanity with one commandment: thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind. This collection takes that ancient crusade and prints it on the most ordinary object in America - the embroidered dad cap. The joke is the collision. A galactic holy war rendered as a gold-thread veteran's cap, a collegiate arch, a chapter hat, an annual retreat. Each design is set in a typeface chosen for its register: PT Serif for the commemorative caps that play it completely straight, Alfa Slab One for the varsity arcs and the novelty-shop one-liners, PT Sans Italic for the event merch.
