Bernese Mountain Dog Hats

The Bernese Mountain Dog comes from the canton of Bern, Switzerland, where it worked as a farm, guard and draught dog. It was first shown in 1902, renamed from Dürrbächler in 1912 and recognized by the AKC in 1937. Males run up to 115 lb, the breed is heat intolerant, and the coat needs brushing daily through the spring and autumn shed.
